The two Spanish groups (Intermediate and Beginners) have been amalgamated into one group that meets every week.

On the first and third Friday of the month we have conversation. The main topic is chosen beforehand so that members have a chance to look up vocabulary and prepare something that they feel comfortable speaking about. A few of the topics covered recently were:
- ways of saving money
- festivals and celebrations
- town or country
- environmental concerns & solutions.

On the  second and fourth Friday in the month we do more learning:
- basic grammar
- watching YouTube Spanish lessons
- reading short stories or factual passages and
- listening to spoken Spanish.

The meetings are held in the group leader’s house and so group size is somewhat limited. There is room at the moment for one or two new members. Some existing knowledge of Spanish would be necessary.
