This group meets on the first Thursday or the month in members’ homes.
We have been meeting for over 11 years and so have read many different books. Members take turns in choosing a book.
We are trying a different approach: every 9th month (as there are 8 members) we are having a theme. For example, for the latest choice the theme is ‘Ghosts’. Each member chooses a book where one of the main characters is a ghost. At the meeting a brief report is given. Members may then choose to read a book recommended by another member - or not!
