Book Club 1 started about 20 years ago and there are six members in this group. We take it in turn to host and choose a book for discussion.
We try to read a variety of genres within literary fiction and occasionally non fiction.
The first part of the meeting the host leads the discussion and we each give the book marks out of 10, then we break for tea and cake. We respect each others opinions.
In December we go out for a meal instead of meeting to discuss a book.
