The Discussion Group consists of a small group of people who are interested in Current Affairs.

There are 11 members at present (maximum 12) and we meet in Enfield Town on the third Friday of each month at 10.30 - 12.30.  There is a small charge of £1 per person which covers the rent of the room, tea and coffee.

The format is for members to come with a subject or a news item from a newspaper or a news programme which can be discussed. The discussions can be very lively and result in an enjoyable morning for all.

We do try to "put the world to rights" but usually not very successfully.
