This group meets every first and third Thursday of the month in Enfield, from 14:00 to 16:00. Meetings include a break of approximately 20 minutes for tea, coffee, and biscuits. Our meetings foster an environment where members can learn from one another while enjoying engaging conversations

Format and Membership
Each session features a PowerPoint presentation with images and text, sometimes incorporating music and video. We are a well-established, friendly group of 20 members, equally balanced between men and women. Discussions cover a wide range of topics and events in world history, with talks presented by members of the group themselves.

Participation and Engagement
All members are actively encouraged to participate, as questions and discussions form an important part of every meeting. Contributions are welcome at any point, within reason, often resulting in lively exchanges. No specific skills are required to join, making the group accessible to everyone.
