Rummikub is a rummy-based game for two to four players that is played with tiles instead of cards. It was invented in the 1940s and is known for its strategic gameplay, where players aim to create sets and runs using the numbered tiles. It is an easy game to learn, especially by those who are used to playing cards.
We meet at 2pm in a local pub on the first Friday of each month. There is a car park at the side of the pub or it can easily be reached by bus. The pub manager very kindly lets us play there without charge, so we do expect everyone attending the group to buy at least one drink at each session so that is worth his while opening the pub early for us.
Unfortunately, Enfield u3a's new Rummikub group is already full, but you are welcome to join a waiting list. On the other hand, in the spirit of the ethos of the u3a, you are welcome to start a second group for all those waiting..
